DESCRIPTION

DescriptionAfter World War 2 Mount Isa Mines expanded their operations to produce copper as well as lead, zinc and silver. In order to achieve this extensions were added to the Mill. In this image the extensions were on the southern side includeing the fine ore conveyor running across the roof. The northern side, lead stream closest to the viewer, remained basically the same as before the expansion project.
